I don’t use litestep but this looks sooo cool.

Not revolutionary. Just black boxes with white text. The black on blue is good, however. Simplicity gained you another few rating points.

Litestep fails because it is slow and cpu intensive.

Hooray. I was waiting for this to come out. Almost exactly what I’d envision as a perfect base LS theme, and definitely great for widescreen monitors. I’d run this in a heartbeat with some of the changes Christian mentioned. Also, is it possible to take the color out of the tray icons as well?

rad. i still think the fading in the dock bit could be a little zippier. the shutdown dialogue (which is beautiful and mysterious) should maybe hide when you click on the desktop or press escape. i realize you can just right click, but that seems more intuitive to me. an option to have the dock stay open after you click on something might be nice. i think there could still be maybe 10 more pixels of padding between the text and the folder arrow in the popup. i like panels that aren’t so flat, but that would defeat the amazing usability of this – it will go with most any wall or theme. the way the amp, tray and taskbar expand and contract are sexy as hell. sorry i didn’t mention more of these before you released, and most of it’s really just nitpicking. i love this.

not crazy about too much minimalism generally, but this is rad. : D love the icons at the lower right, kinda reminds me of moblin’s UI.

Going to run this on my netbook, black themes never fade off. A simple desktop for everyone. Personally, I’d make the systray a tad bigger but other than that, it looks mighty fine.

Great looking theme mate! Animations are super sexy and i really like the feel of it.
Just a few things i didn’t like though: The taskbar is behind an active window, i don’t like minimizing a window to change a task. same with the tray and stacks thingy.
I’d like a tooltip when i hover on shutdown and restart, i had to guess what’s what.
I guess this is a bug: the shutdown isn’t centerd on my screen.
Other then that, super slick theme ;)

I won’t rate without using it, but it really seems you’ve become one of the top litestep guys these days. If the theme operates half as nicely as the preview looks, I’m sure its great. With Windows 7 coming out, I wonder if I’ll ever use LS again. Hmm….

This is the best litestep theme I have ever used. Been using it for a little while, and I must say that it is aesthetically pleasing and it works really well (haven’t seen any bugs since the update).

I loved it..but i’ve a BIG question is there anyway to change the shortcuts on the ^? And how to take out those date and mediaplayer boxes?…yah..first time using LS _

This looks so usable. I’ve never used litestep before but this could sway me for sure.
