This is a work in progress. It’s nearly finished, but I took an element out of it because it wasn’t refined enough. I plan to work on that some more and toss it up as a later revision.
Releasing this version for Marius’ Gaia09 Project.
The piece itself is a project I assigned myself as a gift to give to my friend, as they got a tattoo recently and had a birthday coming up, so I felt that a design involving the subject matter of the tattoo would be a good present. Thank you for the inspiration, Jess.
The tattoo was based off of a norse myth about ragnarok involving a pair of humans named Lif and Lifthrasir. They sleep through the apocalypse in the world tree Yggdrasil and wake up to recreate the human race.
This was my own interpretation of the tattoo design. The one item missing is Lifthrasir holding a sword vertically. She needs more work.
