this was pretty extreme. i didn’t use it for long, but it was a lot of fun to make. the popup was too boring, and pascal tremblay was mad at me for using his artwork.
this is something i’ve wanted to do for awhile.. tried a couple years ago and failed miserably.
artwork is by pascal tremblay: http://www.makeshift.ca/main.html
vs is gsm deep down, and litestep is gear’s tribute.
it’s actually probably my most functional setup to date, using launchy (the window in the bottom right, a quicklauncher), topdesk for expose like features, and strokeit, for both universal and program specific mouse gestures. they all work really well together, like being able to use litestep bangs with just a flick of a mouse.
there are a lot of animated goodies, like the amp in the top left, and taskbar, systray, and clock (not shown). i’ll post a video of it in action if i find proper software.

this is more artwork than screenshot, even though it’s probably one of the most accessible, free-flowing setups i could envision. i like desperation no. 7 better, but that’s definitely saying nothing bad about this. simply amazing use of times new roman.
