Chimpy: I don’t understand why you would want a less colorful album art displaying theme. I figure having the album art displayed with its color is pretty much the entire point of even using bowtie. And this specific theme is pretty functional as well. And if anyone wonders why I don’t use a theme for OS X? It’s because I think they all look like crap. Just saying. And no offense to anyone who’s made some themes here and there. I don’t really pay attention to this kind of thing anymore, just thought I’d share.

Man.I: I liked the icons without the background myself but I couldn’t get an Adium icon working the way I wanted at the time and I’m really too lazy to work on desktop customization right now. Since I moved over to a Mac it’s not really been a big deal to customize a desktop anymore. Kind of like the way it works almost completely by itself.

I like the background but I’m disappointed to see that everything except the Dock is stock. I think the Bowtie should have been put top-left or right and with a less colourful theme. Something about the Dock doesn’t sit right with me. Perhaps you shouldn’t had made it transparent. And yeah, you need an open window or two.

Well I suppose it depends upon what you expect from a Bowlet. I would have perhaps opted for something like Phillip Antoni’s Minimal theme. Regarding themes for SL, I’m inclined to agree with you. The only one I think is really nice is Caesar.
I liked your previous Dock icons more than these, I just thought it needed a background s’all. I don’t think your current bg works well with a Mirage’d Dock imo. These icons don’t fit in for me. I do like the Blob icons themselves though – I use them in my Dock.
I love the Minimium2 icons.

qbert, Although I don’t use docks myself, I thought your white text dock icons were pretty sexy. You should make an alt shot with those ones on it. Good work bro.

Love the dock icons and the wall. Customized to be sure, but love the raw vibe.
