I’ve seen Bakemonogatari (Ghostory) last week, and I really liked to, so I decided to dedicate a desktop to it. ^^

edit: maybe its growing on me, but this does kinda work. i think the black bars w/ white text dont necessarily fit, the icons dont totally match, and the girl is still kinda weird to me. however, the colors do feel nice, and it is certainly an interesting shot.

Ok, I’ve replaced the icons’ orange colour to purple, so it matches now. My only problem is: how can I replace Windows’ Classic’s font? The only way I could edit it is if i go to Control Panel → Appearance settings or whatver it’s called → appearance tab → advanced, but Haxrcrop 4088 is not in the dropdown list :(
I wanted to edit shellstyle.dll in resource hacker to HaxrCrop 4088, but it didn’t work.

I think you guys are being too harsh on the wall. It’s got a nice subtle texture, solid composition and excellent typography. The shot’s real classy, and pyro-ish. By far your most interesting. Agreed that matching the fonts and coloring the icons would tie it all together, though. Good shot.

This has a place in my heart. It reminds me of an old legend, Coins with that wall. I think your matching is off a tad. Maybe make the black LS theme match the folder background and color those icons to match. A pretty nice throw back to the olden days though.
