Wasn’t planning to participate this year, but I thought it could be fun. After SSC is done I’ll finish this all look up a bit and release it. I was planning to do a lot more with this, but true transparency and bblean limitations kept me from doing a bit.

I don’t understand why more people use serif fonts in their screenshots. I love it here, the general typography across the desk is beautiful. The shot is a little simple, and would like to see a bit more, but what is there is very elegant and classy. Nice sub.
@AUAN – Think you’ve mixed up your pros and cons =)

Way to use my serif idea. =P I’m kind of tempted to get off my arse and finish mine now, seeing how well serif fonts are being received.
Cons:
The current track name font size is a little too big for my tastes, and the rainmeter is a bit too subtle.
Pros:
Good colors and over all integration of your style. Hipster shapes ftw.
@fate0000
That I did. I should really sleep more often. :)

Not a fan of the font but this looks just nice. I like that TT. ;)

Maybe a little underdeveloped in some areas, but there’s definitely an elegant simplicity to it. Digging the font.

basically what akka said, but even though there isnt much going on, its quite lovely. only con for me is maybe the tasks should be rounded? i’m not even sure though
pjdark [91] wrote:
I’m strangely attracted to that font. You just don’t normally see a serif font in screenshots. Last one i really liked was one of akka’s. {landscape} I dig the colors and the wall and the overall look. Well done.

you could have shown some more stuff, but that what’s there is great. big props for that font!

as the others have said, nice to see a serif font in a screenshot. it actually feels overused to me; you should make the font on the cad skin smaller and hide the caption bar font altogether to possibly remedy that.
bblean looks amazing in this shot, though i’d like to see how the popup fits in. the colors overall are pretty swell too. finally, match the font in your mail widget to the rest of the shot.

Looks very solid.
Have you tried the x64 version of truetransparency? It works with explorer using aero, but the toolbar background keeps disappearing.

Thanks everyone, Ill try to make everything seem a little more finished. I was planning to much more, but it got boring. >_<
@auan heh, nabbed that serif, sorry dood. You really should finish yours, specially with the summer here!
@audacious I agree with the rounding of the tasks, but I dont think it’s possible in blackbox :(
@mangosango Ooh, just tried the 64bit and it works great, but gdi++ doesnt work with the 64bit apps so I had to mod the tt for 64bit with a blank font. Using a non-aero theme/ classic win works great with it and aero is pretty unnecessary if you have tt running. thanks
