I’m not a big fan of such classic setups, but this. This is just such a wonderfully-executed expression of the idea. Doesn’t seem too usable, but maybe it’s just me. The fact that the desktop resolution is rather small seems to work in it’s favour.

One of my favorites, excellent execution. The scattered icons add some nice authenticity.

there’s a lot of work been put into this. but I think this lacks creativity. I mean there’s the kind of painters who take a picture put it next to the canvas and start painting the thing they see on the picture. and then there’s the kind of painters who just paint what they feel and think and see in their head. I wouldn’t really call the first ones artists… and this is kinda the same story with you. respect for skinning so much and putting so much work into this but the creativity gets lost by doing something like that and that’s kinda odd :(.
