You really need to make sure that this is viewed at full size to fully appreciate the details in this one. The textures are subtle but fit in perfect and the stitching is brilliant. Everything matches perfectly. I also like how your style is somewhere between the clean minimal desks and the more grungy classic look. My only gripe is that the font on the “83” isn’t smoother, but that might not even be possible. Textbook customization here, all around.

@josh: thanks man, means a lot coming from you. regarding the ‘83’, unfortunately that’s the best samurize can render it.

@kody: wow, you’re right, the mirc does kinda look transparent. i never even noticed that lol

You know you are onto something when you out a desktop that’s not my style, yet makes me want to have and use it…

Yeah, as fate0000 said, the font on the weather and also the mail checker widget needs to be smoother, otherwise this is just perfect.

Maybe in the future, you can consider using Rainmeter instead for the widgets. Rainmeter has better font rendering, especially at larger font sizes, than Samurize, in my opinion.

Love the stitches on the taskbar. Also the startpage is really cool. Yeah the font on the samurize looks a bit buggered, But that’s pretty sweet custo. Good job Eric. :-D

My favorite submission this year. Like Josh said, the shot really comes alive in its full resolution – I love the details and the fabric theme throughout. My only reservation is about the background color of the taskbar, but that’s really just personal taste. Top-notch stuff :)

The leaf shapes don’t quite fit the setup for me, especially in the gray caption buttons and I’m missing some customized icons, but otherwise this shot is just amazing. The taskbar and startpage (I’m guessing those are just your favourite websites, but how cool would it be if that was a real cloud showing the sites you’ve visited most?!) are simply brilliant and oh how I’ve missed that font!

That nnscript is nice, but the lighter texture really adds a nice feeling of transparency.
That startpage is hot. That listestep is the tits, and if it’s the same as the not tonight setup, then I know it’s super usable.
Mad props for helping to keep samurize alive, I’m just getting back into it.
The runbox is also classy and simple.

beautiful though, the stitching is a really nice touch, the attention to detail continues to astound me. echoing what fate said, it took me a while just looking around the shot and noticing all the customizations, really good stuff.

I was anxiously awaiting your and mango’s shots. For some reason this really reminds me of Josh’s old A-spec (?) suite, I guess the greys, red, and leaf.

I’m not sold on the caption buttons, though, and the grey shape that’s scattered throughout could maybe use a little more detail.

But that’s just nitpicking, and the more you show the more opportunity we have ;p This is impressively thorough with great attention to detail, I’m loving the little hacks, and especially liking the task buttons and contact list. This is how it’s done.

you’ve come a long way with ls my friend. this rocks. the colour scheme here just works so well and i really think it’s all balanced out well. you’ve paid attention to continuity in everything which i love, everything is customised and fits in very nicely to this suite.

i think you’re really constrained by XP here. the rounded corners are nice but would look even better alphablended (like in win7) and that caption button is a little boring. i don’t think i particularly like the leaf image itself but it’s been used well consistently.

i’m seriously picking at straws here cos this is the shit. great job.
