So I decided to rework DNA a bit more and make it more comfortable to use for a while.
Mostly the same stuff from before:
LS/TT/Launchy | by Me
Wall | From Ambient2 by RequestedRerun
VS | JONGHYUNPARK (mod)
Icons | Aquave by Mr_Ragnarok
Firefox | Metro + compactmenu
Thunderbird | LeopardUI
GRJ | Snohetta by pep
gdipp (font smoothing) | custom xml
Photos from: Tumblr, Ambient2 wallpack, Desktopography, goodies from custo
The video app in the bottom-left is VLC, the photo app in the top-right is Picasa.
EDIT: OS | Win7 x64

this is great, I love seeing so much effort put into a working setup
the ff and tb skins match up perfectly with the explorer window

As always, beautiful shot. I’m glad you found out about GDIPP. It works wonders for 7! You may have to post your settings for this too. :P
It looks like you have Segoe UI and Arial/Swis721 BT used as your fonts. If you’re looking to unify the fonts, there are posts scattered across the internet that show how to do it similar to UAC Marine’s post in Customize.org. I have a text file saved if you want to look at it. I think the post I read can be found in Sevenforums.

@ bernadinho & Kody: Thanks!!
@ ispano: Yeah – gdipp is my new favorite thing :D Nice catch with the fonts :) – I’m actually going through the VS right now and changing the font from Segoe to Arial.
@ambulance yep :)
EDIT: @ambulance – You need to get the x64-bit version of TT 1.4 (the latest version). Unfortunately, it won’t skin the breadcrumbs/searchbar background, so you have to mod the VS to get rid of that. But otherwise it works very well!
EDIT2: @ ambulance – yeah, you have to run both at the same time :/

You seriously need to release your own customization suite (like Gaia). Your work gets to this Zen-like aesthetic that’s almost brand worthy. Couple of folks on here have work of that caliber.
major props.

Are you on Windows 7 64?
EDIT: and you are using true transparency? how do you get it to skin the 64bit windows like explorer.exe?
EDIT 2: I downloaded the one on the TT site and it only skinned the 32 bit programs still. I found an x64 version on a forum though and installed it but it only skins the 64bit programs. Is their a version that skins both or do you have to have both of them running at the same time. Or am I missing something here?
EDIT 3: Ah ok. I guess you have the same transparency issue with the explorerframe (address/search bars) too seeing as how you aren’t showing it in your shot? Or am I just having a weird problem?

Damn you for not releasing anything, Sang! =P If you won’t release such an awesome-looking suite I’ll kill you xD BTW, it’s just… KICKASS!
Oh, how can I hide address bar, search bar and navigation buttons in Explorer with WSB? I see you managed to do it here :) But, are they in autohide?

i actually like your ssc ’10 iteration of this better, but very good still. once you get all the segoe out of there i think this will really start to take shape. like marius said, the caption button is great.

Excellent. I suppose this is more of the everyday use version. Still looks great and interesting to see the changes.
