My 100th screenshot on dA, it would seem. Admirable or sad? You decide.
It’s been a little while, so I thought I’d share a comfortable, easy-going setup I’ve been using for a while now. Keep things Smooth, Clean and Minimal.
GTK: Droid by =lassekongo83
Emerald: As above
Icons: Faenza-Dark by ~tiheum
Fonts: PT Sans Narrow
Wallpaper: Bebequ Wallpapers by ~art-styles
Covergloobus: Deep 7 Horizontal ported by *gabriela2400 (altered fonts & colours)
DockbarX: Dock theme by ~BigRZA (slight padding mods)
DockbarX Icons: Token by ~brsev
Apps: Nautilus-Elementary with various toolbars and panes removed, Rhythmbox minimal, GIMP, Gnome-Terminal, gEdit with bars removed, Empathy simple, Firefox minimalised, Cardapio & DockbarX on the panel
Peace out. Feel free to ask any questions. =]

Not sure about this. Something is throwing me off. I feel like it might be that the text is so narrow while the glass behind the windows makes them feel so wide. It makes me anxious, for some reason.

ffs that is a cool setup. I’m going to go experiment with cool window outlines and the like.. I suppose I’ll have to let OB go as a WM and get something a bit more customisable.. Would you recommend emerald? I haven’t used it in ages.
regardless, font irks me a little and the systray feels out of place but this is solid.
would’ve liked the icons in nautilus spread around a bit more, actually, or matched. bloody nice for a filemanager though :P
EDIT: cool, i’ll look into it at least, or maybe keep looking around. I just want a good pixmap engine :P
@audacious: Yeah, it’s a shame. It’d be nice if there was expanded theming support at some point, be good to see it keep up with the cool kids :P

@nitzua: thank you, sir. =]
@Chris: I’ve had a couple of remarks regarding the narrow font. Personally, I like it. But whatever floats your boat.
@Geti: thanks! Emerald is good for transparency tricks and the like, but it’s still fairly limited. It’s also quite buggy sometimes, I don’t think it’s maintained.
@audacious: thanks man! I like the gnome-panel, it’s all self-contained and consistent. =]
@mangosango: thanks! Yes, it looks a little busy, but it’s extremely usable.
@richard0: thanks! Lasse’s work is incredible.

yeah man, i reaaaaally dig that font, and even though im not sure whether id like to use it, the window edges/transparencies look rad and fresh
main thing throwing me off is gnome-panel, just seems outta place, still a nice shot
@geti i have also given up on ob because its just mad limiting, its too bad because its so easy to change, simple, and quick

Looks nice – especially lovin the window borders.
My only issue is with the taskbar on the bottom, which looks a tad busy, but I guess it’s just that much more usable.

Not too different from what I’m using atm, but I’m on ffuu :) lassekongos work is really nice and those icons are one of the best icon sets I know. But I have to agree with the guys above about the panel and especially the right corner with.

This might be the most underrated shot on the board right now. This looks very comfy and thoroughly customized. Everything jives nicely. Keep it up.

I can see where Chris is coming from, there is a little bit of tension there. It’s all beautiful though – the icons, glass, gradients. Those view toggle buttons in the menubar stick out like a sore thumb :( I like this.
