A lotta this looks familiar from the rest of your shots and mangosangos Lemonade (not in a bad way), but I really love that green blob on the caption bar.

This is fukken DELISH.

I’m not sold on that blob, but it’s a neat idea. Also, some of the typography’s a little weak. I admire your shots though, the last couple especially. It’s good to emulate, but still push the fold.

I actually like the blobs, but I think the shadows could be a little more transparent. The wallpaper also seems a bit dark, but that might just be my monitor.

BUT it’s good and like akka, I’ve enjoyed seeing your last couple of shots. Keep it up :)

i think the so-called ‘blobs’ look pretty good, but could use some more polish. this needs font matching all around, but i don’t think lucida grande is right for this shot. it looks especially awkward on the now playing and clock widgets. i also agree with mango on the wall being a bit dark.

all that said, you’re coming along pretty well, and i’m looking forward to your next shot.

Good use of transparency. I like the what everything else is coining, “blobs”, but I they look a little over-blurred – maybe sharpen up the edges a bit?

As everyone else has stated, a brighter wall/different font could really tie this together. Personally, I feel like your dock is a little underdeveloped as well.

Definitely see a lot of potential here. (Major props for consistency, too.)

Not feeling the blob as is, but with a few tweaks I think it could be a nice unique element of the theme. The typo, especially in the date is unpolished. This takes a lot of practice to get down and will take some time. You’re really one of the more solid and consistent submitters to this site now. I’m really looking forward to watching you continue and develop more and more into your own style.
